Overall Thoughts on the Stryker SR-497-HPC:
SR-497-HPC happens to be one of the finest 10-meter ham/CB radios. Right from the factory, the radio is already tuned to the 10-meter band.
Because of this, it operates as amateur ham radio and is suitable for long-range communications.
The SR-497-HPC is a six IRF-520 MOSFET transistor radio with high power output. You'll usually need an amplifier to generate a high power output, but not with this radio.
High power is advantageous since it enables wider coverage. Because of its strong transistor, the CB radio has 30+ miles range.
The radio has an easy-to-understand user interface. The first is a multi-colored channel display. You may choose from seven color options for the frequency display with this function, it also comes with a 7 color LED backlit faceplate.
